1st semester reflection
I was very hesitant to start my master's program with everything else already going on in life. Then I attended the meeting for Fielding and it seemed too good to be true. I was very excited to get the process started, but then I started the application and financial aid process. That was a little frustrating, but worth it. I believe that the two weeks of summer I spent in class were well spent. Some of the information was new, some of the information was just materials/strategies that teachers need to be reminded of after "a few" years of teaching. I truly believe I gained more from the first weeks of this class than I would have in a traditional setting that would last for half of a year. I am always excited to return to school after summer, but I feel that I have a new direction to follow this year with my students, and I am especially excited to hit the ground running!
